Another O-hat run is coming up. If you want to get yourself an o-hat, 1st you will have to farm or buy 5 items. Once you got all the items, on the list below, contact Pico about synthing the items into a cluster and Voila! You can pop the NM for you o-hat (Lvl 70 R/E Hat..Accuracy +10, Ranged Accuracy +10, Evasion +10)

WHEN: This Thursday 8-6-2008, gather together 10:00 pm Central Time, or, 11 pm Eastern Time

at: Temple of Uggalepih
near the
Den of Rancor entrance. Several of us have the Paint Brush of Souls , to open the gate.

Please have the Hakutaku Eye Cluster, made before the event! It is wise to bring extras.

Here's the shopping list:
Golden Hakutaku Eye - Drops from Mindgazer (Sea Serpent Grotto lvl 66-69 mobs Thru Ornamental Door. Use a sahagin key to open the ornamental door to the camp and to allow everyone to enter. Requires another Sahagin key to re-open. This door CANNOT be opened from inside (So don't leave anyone behind)To get a Sahagin Key, Click link below (opens the page in wiki)

Earthen Hakutaku Eye - Drops from Blubbereyes (lvl 55-58 Sea Serpent Grotto Behind Mythrili Door - Requires Mythryl beastcoin to open. Door can be opened from inside) There you will also find mobs for coffer keys and map coffers are also all on this map.

Burning Hakutaku Eye - Drops from Thousand Eyes in King Ramperer's Tomb

Wooden Hakutaku Eye - Drops from Million Eyes - Den of Rancor / Pso' Xja (lvl 73-76 mobs - lots of paralyna needed for tanks on this one)

Damp Hakutaku Eye - Drops from Dodomeki in Ifrit's Cauldren (lvl 63-69) - Use West entrance, and camp is through the open area, by taking the North tunnel
(Coffer Key mobs/ Coffers are nearby also)

Vial of Fiend Blood

1 Light Crystal

Once you have all those items, Ask Pico (nicely) to synth them into a Hakutaku Eye Cluster, and you're 'Good to go!'

If you can farm extras, please do. It's a long battle and sometimes we could wipe and die, so it's best to bring an extra cluster along just in case of failure.

It takes quite a while to farm these, and we have usually been camping a different area per day so things don't get too boring and stale while camping. The higher level mobs are great if you have an NPC and want to get some uber exp for them while we farm.

That is one fine guide to farming for the Optical Hat. In fact the strategy of switching camps is great to.

Cool I though we had to get Just 5 Burning Eyes. I am sorry i could not come to last nights O-Hat run because my Parents had me go to bed and to get some rest. But i Promise to come to next one if possible

I am setting up a O-hat run here soon but first we need to farm our Eyes. So do I lol. So tonight on October, 7 will be farming as soon as i get home and that will be at 11:30 pm cst (10/8/08 at 1:30am pst, 10/7/08 10:30 est). We will have fun while we farm so come along and help us tonight

Congrats Chiefsnakeeyes, and CrownRoyal On getting your O-Hats. And thank you everyone who all help. We only lost one battle and that was Xenshu's Cluster. We are going to do another Fight Run tonight same time as Yesterday and if you could help Xenshu get his eyes again that would help alot for him and everyone who needs O-hat.

Had fun during O-Hat run....would like to see pics of what was taken please let me know how to go to that because I cannot seem to find it if u posted them. Thanks and see ya again and lets hope for no deaths, or at least few deaths lol

I have pics of the last fight, where all 18 of us ended up in deathga, along the whole tunnel - lol
I'll try to upload them as soon as I can. Since I just reraised - looks like we got a lot of raise 3's do dish out - lol Congrats again Crownroyal & Chiefsnakeeyes on their O-hat! We should repeat the o-hat run every Weds I think, they're alot of fun!

i know sevo has tried to set up a O hat run but i couldnt make it due to my spring break plans. I have my cluster and i would love to do another run, so if we could set up a date ^^

Darn. I might come along to help - tho I'm getting pretty desperate for exp now after doing that sleep NM die, sleep NM die thing in Dyny earlier today.
